Overview
Students will explore the intersection of teaching and technology while learning foundational computer science concepts. Students will engage in hands-on activities, collaborate with peers, and work alongside experienced educators and mentors while gaining insight into how computer science and artificial intelligence can be integrated into any classroom. Housing and meals are provided, allowing students to experience life on a college campus at no cost.
In addition, select students from the CS Teaching Academy will be invited to assist with our STEM Adventure Camp for 4th–6th grade students later this summer (7/7 - 7/9). Students selected to help with the STEM Adventure Camp will receive a stipend for their work.
Requirements
Seniors must be at least 18 AND majoring in Computer Science or Computer Science Education.
Registration and Cost
Camp is free of charge.
